The Sector Skills Service started in 2004 and is a free service to the unemployed and those facing redundancy. The Sector Skills Service primarily works within the communities of Hampshire and helps thousands of people. All our services are free and we also plough-back funding to pay for travel expenses and costs related to assisting those trying to gain employment.
Our service are designed to offer a pathway back into employment for the unemployed and those facing redundancy. The Sector Skills Service receive almost every day the new vacancies and the Sector Skills Service team work directly with companies and the Jobcentres in trying to help fill those vacancies. The Sector Skills Service is not a recruitment company and do not receive a commission or payment for assisting the company to fill its vacancies. Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions Employment Service

The Sector Skills Service is a FREE service that relies upon public sector funding. In partnership with the key stakeholders and using government funding the service aims to reduce the number of people on benefits and seeking employment.
