Employment ServiceImportant disclaimer: The Sector Skills Service is not a Recruitment Company and does not receive a commission for finding individuals employment. In difficult times financially and with large numbers of applicants for each vacancy it is very difficult for companies support the process of selection, interviewing and making the correct appointment. Many companies with vacancies have themselves only small HR departments and cannot cope with large numbers of applications. Many companies also choose in these difficult financial times to not pay fees to recruitment companies. The Sector Skills Service offers an Employment service that directly focuses upon the pre-employment requirements that will directly assist the Companies in filling their vacancies and a service that will assist the applicant find suitable employment. Our priority is to try and assist the companies and the Jobcentre Plus to fill the local Job vacancies and give local people the chance to gain sustained employment. All our services are free and we also plough-back funding to pay for travel expenses and costs related to assisting those trying to gain employment. The Sector Skills Service receive almost every day the new vacancies and the Sector Skills Service team work directly with companies and the Jobcentres in trying to help fill those vacancies. The Pre-Employment Service is designed and funded with the aim offering a pathway back into employment whilst also being an invaluable aid to companies needing to fill their vacancies. The Sector Skills Service is a FREE service that relies upon public sector funding. In partnership with the key stakeholders and using government funding the service aims to reduce the number of people on benefits and seeking employment.
